Reflections – Part 2
Submitted by Aldon Hynes on Tue, 09/14/2004 - 07:36(Originally published in Greater Democracy)
A few days ago, I posted an entry, entitled ‘Reflections – Part 1’. That sort of requires me to follow up with a part 2. This part is one that I’ve been thinking about ever since the Republican convention, and since then, I keep getting more and feedback to go into the article.

Job Search...
Submitted by Aldon Hynes on Sat, 09/11/2004 - 10:16Yesterday, I received a job lead for a small start-up, which has a new CEO who is trying to turn it around. He is looking for a CTO. A friend of mine who had been considering investing in this start-up passed this on to me. I sent an email to the CEO introducing myself. Within moments, I received a response asking for my resume. Half an hour later, I received a phone call from the CEO and we had an extended discussion.

These services aren’t really all that free. They are a long distance call, and even for people with a lot of minutes, they eat up the minutes rather quickly.
