Okay. Now for something a little more light hearted, or perhaps light headed:
There is a new website called Frappr which uses Google Maps to display information about people in a group. Anyone can set up a Frappr map, so I set up http://www.frappr.com/destefanoforct.
Please stop by and add your name to our map of supporters.
Supreme Court Nominees
Submitted by Aldon Hynes on Thu, 10/27/2005 - 12:18Well, the news is out that Harriet Miers has cut and run from the Supreme Court nomination. Friends are telling me that this is simply clearing the way for a nomination of Karl Rove, but I don't believe it.
Meanwhile, I should point out that I am not withdrawing my supreme court nomination
Playing with My Yahoo Web 2.0
Submitted by Aldon Hynes on Sat, 10/22/2005 - 13:47Yesterday, I loaded my http://del.icio.us/ahynes1 >del.icio.us tags into Yahoo’s My Web 2.0 Beta. Today, as I wrote my blog post about Second Life, I used My Yahoo Web 2.0 to find the links I wanted.
Earlier this year, I participated in Online Social networking 2005. I tagged a bunch of the sites from that in del.icio.us. I knew that one of those sites talked about the use of Second Life to help people. So, I did a search on My Yahoo Web 2.0 for sites that I had tagged that talked about Second Life. Sure enough, the site I was looking for popped right up.
It was very helpful. Score an early Web 2.0 point for Yahoo.

I wrote two comments to his blog entry, which I have combined below:
News Headlines
Submitted by Aldon Hynes on Fri, 10/21/2005 - 16:50I just glanced at the top news headlines on Google:
DeLay in first court appearance
Shark Attack Victim Describes Ordeal
Woman accused of throwing her sons into SF Bay pleads not guilty
It sort of feels like one of those essay questions you get in school. How are these three stories related?
