Cold, Crashed Servers, MOO Coding, Job Leads, DNC, OSN
Well, I have this nasty cold that continues to linger on, so I am sleeping as much as I can right about now. Yesterday, I had problems with the server that hosts Orient Lodge, as well as the server that hosts SmartCampaigns. It made for a very unproductive day.
I did have a few meetings where I talked about several different job leads. Each of the leads is very interesting, but they are all a ways off from bringing in the necessary cashflow.
This morning, I read more about the DNC race, which looks very good for Dean at this point. People are starting to talk about what to do when and if Gov. Dean becomes DNC Chair. Of course, the key thing is to be involved. Join your local committees. Consider running for office. Write letters to elected officials and the media. Testify before hearings on your favorite issue. There is also a lot of talk about having some sort of coordinated way of giving money to the DNC to voice your appreciation for the new DNC Chair. Some people want to donate $20.06 for the mid term elections. Others want to donate $20.08 for the next presidential elections. Others want to add $3.32 to each donation (DFA on a phone is 332).
My thoughts? Just do it. You can donate to the DNC from my ‘ePatriots’ page,, or you can set up your own epatriots page here.
One last thing to bring up: I will be a panelist in Online Social Networks 2005, February 9-23. I need to get a bit of writing done for that. Please consider joining in.
