Second Life Major Stock Holders

As I watch stock trading in Second Life, I like to pay close attention to who some of the large stock holders are, and what they are doing. When looked at on a day-to-day basis, the information isn’t often all that interesting. Marc Attenborough has bought an additional thousand shares of INC. Maelstrom Baphomet has bought 500 more shares of DGD and Skip Oceanlane has sold 3,000 shares of ITA.

Sometimes, however, larger shifts are noticeable. For example, Patrickj Ah recently sold 50,000 shares of AVC. Stryker Yoshikawa bought 27,890 shares and Monkey Canning bought 44,000 shares. This caused me to take a closer look at the major holders of AVC.

When AVC was restructured, the top six shareholders were Xavier Hathaway, random bumbo, traderjohn susa, patrickj ah, matt ratner, and ScottyBig Oh. Xavier remains a top shareholder, as one of the three listed owners. random bumbo, traderjohn susa, and matt ratner have dropped off of the top five holders list, and Patrickj Ah has dropped to fifth.

ScottyBig Oh has climbed to be the largest owner of unrestricted shares. Monkey Canning, besides the shares he holds as an owner, is second in the list of unrestricted shares. Stryker Yoshikawa and Bittle Paine have shown up as new top shareholders.

It is interesting to note that none of these major stockholders have shown up as major stockholders over on SLCapEx, which provides fairly accessible information about major holders. However, SLCapEx only shows holders of more than 5%, as opposed to the top five holders, so there data is a little more limited.

Over on SLCapEx, there are similar examples of major shifts in holdings. Tyrian Camilo has emerged as a major holder of DGD. Kubi Beam has emerged as a major holder of INC. KDC has seen a complete shake up of major holders as Legolas Delgado, Investor Allen, AEBank Dagger, and Kailen Juran have been replaced by Dezmond Martinek, Bogart Beck, and Kdmutual Planer. LNL saw some major changes in the top holders, but that was due to a restructuring that was discussed on SLCapEx.

NDX saw some changes as Chao Mu and Nansje Barbosa disappeared and Kubi Beam, who also became a major holder of INC became a major holder of NDX. Also appearing were chan Tanabe and Amon Colman.

SLCX also saw the departure of Investor Allen, with Sando Haller and Radioactive Rosca taking up major positions. At SLR, we saw the departure of Xavier Mohr and the arrival of Cash Yiyuan. This reflects the change in CEOs.

TNW saw the departure of Orage Lubitsch. XXX saw the departure of Dimitri Gasser and the arrival of Yew Tone. ZEN saw the departure of KLinthoudt Mayo and Legolas Delgado and the arrival of Ashleigh Wade.

There are a lot of names and changes that are hard to keep track of, so I thought another graph would be helpful. This graph shows major stockholders and corporate officers of companies listed on the SLCapEx and the VSTEX. Some companies, like VST, TNW, SLTM, HBK do not show up because there are not currently any cross holders.

What does all of this mean? I’ll leave that up to each one of you to try and figure out. Put simply there are a few dozen players that are all interconnected. These connections shift over time, and it may affect the prices of the stocks, beyond that, put on your tin hat and tell me what is really going on.
