The protests

I am at Blogger’s Alley at The Tank.I have just gotten back from the protest. I’ve uploaded my pictures here.
I started off from The Tank and walked over to 7th Avenue. As I got to Madison Square Garden, I saw some folks from Right March that I had met from the Personal Democracy Forum in New York. They talked about being here to protest the protestors, however, they were also going to protest some of the Republican events, such as the Pro Life Republican gatherings. I was told that one of the folks from Operation Rescue was helping with some of the protests.
I then walked down 7th Avenue and I ran into Zephyr Teachout of ACT and Jerome Armstrong of MyDD. I watched the protest for a while, and then wandered back to The Tank.
It was hard to get through the crowds and police barricades. In the end I marched with the protest for a while, and then made it out of the march near Fifth Avenue and 34th Street. As I walked along, I ran into the folks from Billionaires for Bush. They were all having a good time as they joined the protest.
Back at The Tank, I have checked my email to find a message from my daughter who has just started college.
Hey, cool! I actually just saw a headline on the Yahoo sign-in page about some guy in a bomb costume at a protest. Yahoo sounded quite disapproving, but I thought his sign was funny-- I can't remember what it said now, though. of course. Luck with the convention! If you send me the link, I will actually read you this time. I have you down as a writer/journalist in my survey thing, so you'd better keep going with this insane blog idea...
Sidestepping the issue of whether bloggers are really journalists, I guess I am now being identified as a writer, so I guess I probably need to stay with it.
