In a little while, we will be on the road to Falcon Ridge Folk Festival. It looks like it will be a hot weekend, so we’ll be drinking lots of fluids, and probably a little bug juice to keep our electrolytes up. It looks like a good schedule of performers, both as part of the official festival, as well as various performers playing at the fringes.

Our neighbors are heading up as well and will be camping with us. Other folks that we’ve known from various festivals will be showing up at different times.

Depending on how things go at setting up the campsite, we’ll probably head off to go swimming this afternoon, and then head over to catch some music in the evening.

I will have my cellphone, and hope to blog a little bit, as well as send in a few pictures. However, I don’t know how good the signal will be and what the opportunities will be to keep in charged. Also, since we are there to listen to music, and not to blog, my updates are likely to be limited.

I’ve been going to Falcon Ridge for nearly twenty years. It is a core part of our family tradition.

Anyway, we’re off. I look forward to see old friends and new friends.
