Triple Booked
I started off Tuesday with a dentist appointment. It was a routine cleaning. I proceeded to work, for another routine day, as much as any day at work can be considered routine for me.
At the end of the day, I walked out of my office into the bitter cold wind. I chatted with a couple homeless men that often stand near my building and then rushed over to a forum on opiate addiction.
I had to leave the forum early to get to my final vestry meeting. It was a long, but productive meeting. I didn’t have time to make it to a talk at my local library.
It was a long day, and I sent straight to bed when I got home; my first day this year without a blog post.
Today was another routinely busy day, but at least I got home in time to have dinner, install the new washing machine and now to write, briefly.
Tomorrow evening there is a poetry event, and two faith related events. One of those events is the beginning of a three day conference I am looking forward to attending. We’ll see what sort of writing opportunities I get tomorrow.
It seems as if this is a week of being tripled booked.
