Random Second Life Business Notes

The first new venture that Atlas Venture Capital (AVC) is launching is Dawes Financial Corporation (DFC). DFC will be a mortgage originator in Second Life. They are expected to offer two-month loans, paid weekly, with an initial deposit of at least 15%. DFC will hold title to the properties.

BREAKING: Real Edwards Supporter in Romantic Relationship spills beans on video

These reports have been pretty well debunked. However, I have searched around, asking friends that that pay much more attention to these sort of stories that I do, and I finally found the key video.
In the video, a long time Edwards supporter who not only is in an amazing romantic relationship with with Sen. Edwards, but also, is reported to have given birth to children as a result of this relationship, spills the beans about this on a YouTube video.

Knowprose and I were talking the other day about different ways people make money online. One site that he recommended was Zazzle. It is similar to CafePress and looks pretty nice. You can see Knowprose’s Zazzle page here.

Convergence
Submitted by Aldon Hynes on Wed, 10/10/2007 - 17:25It can be a wonderful things when things come together just right. As an example, I finally got around to upgrading my antiquated cellphone, and I can use my new phone as an MP3 player and a video camera. It makes my life easier and much more fun.
Today, I heard about two other interests of mine converging. This is a much geekier convergence and I’m trying to find out if it too will make my life easier and much more fun. What I’m talking about is the press release announcing Linden Lab Selects StreamBase’s Event Processing Platform To Power Real-Time Analytics And Reporting Throughout the Second Life Grid.
Cool! Will I get to play with that?
