Linkfest

This morning I had breakfast with David Isenberg. I’ve know David from a mailing list related to the Greater Democracy blog. He lives the next town over and we’ve communicated via email a lot. We were long over due for breakfast.

David is particularly well known for his paper, Rise of the Stupid Network, which I need to get around to reading. During breakfast he mentioned Jeff Jarvis’ recent blog entry The shocking truth about the FCC: Censorship by the tyranny of the few. This is a must read article.

At home, I received an email from Cyndy Roy. Cyndy is part of the Progressive Blog Alliance and is interested in the investigative blogging project. She was writing to point me to Dave Pollard’s blog entry entitled REINVENTING THE NEWS, PUTTING BLOGGERS TO WORK. He gives a good description of the project we have been kicking around.

I downloaded iPodder and posted about that earlier today. David Scott Anderson wrote about this and some other Progressive Bloggers. He talked about the importance of exchanging links.

Now, I get ready to go have dinner with Dean Landsman. It has been a blog happy day.
