In my discussions about Investigative Blogging, I have started getting great information from all kinds of sources. Krista Bradford forwarded a link to >>>>this<<<<. It is a presentative by alums of the Poynter Institute which she received from Nora Paul.
If you use Blogger, Google, buy things from Amazon, use Microsoft or Sony products, or read the New York Times, you must watch this.
It takes about eight minutes to watch the whole thing, but it is worth it. It should open up in a seperate window, so those of you who are coming through Blog Explosion can watch it without it messing up your BlogExplosion windows.
I would love to hear people's reactions.

Submitted by Anonymous on Tue, 12/07/2004 - 22:09.Thanks for posting about this site. Seems to me, the future is now. Already, media is too often sensationalist, trivial, and driven by advertising. We should do our best to "find another way" as the piece suggests. Blogs may be a big part of that. But a more important part is the changing our collective consciousness so that we each always strive to be better people, and make a better society. Find out how at sowhatcanido.blogspot.com.

Blogs are part of that future and it is interesting to think of the role of mommy blogs and adolescent angst blogs in the mix. Did you read the 'Investigative Blogging' piece?
