Quick Free Association Question

I am preparing to write a longish blog entry which deals a lot with the word 'contract'.
Before I do it, it would be great if everyone could post any quick associations they have with the word.
(And then come back later when I get a chance to write about 'contract')

But, then, I trained as a nurse, which is the only excuse I can offer...
