I try to make it really difficult to add comments here so that only spammers will bother. Umm... Forget that... That doesn't work out so well.

Anyway, if you remember your password next week (especially if you've changed it to make it easy to remember), it will only be half as difficult next time.

All of that said, they are very crazy looking turkeys... Glad you liked the photo. I look forward to eating one of their siblings in a couple days.

they colour our sheep like this sometimes in Australia ... are they for real diners ... or for show ?

They are from the turkey farm where we bought our turkey. The store at the farm was packed with people coming into pick up their turkey's for Thanksgiving.

I imagine the colored birds get to make it past Thanksgiving, but I bet most of them will be sold for Christmas dinner.

Somehow this makes me sad. You can tell I don't like to think about where my dinner comes from. Poor things.
