AVC Voting
A couple hours after I wrote my comments about the CGI vote, I received a notice from Monkey Canning that he had received 73% of the votes making him the new CEO of Atlas Venture Capital (AVC). His note said that votes were counted by Farqot Gustafson of SL Reports and that Farqot has no shares or interest in AVC or other companies associated with Monkey.
Farqot, like Marc Attenborough is listed as a member of the “Brautigan & Tuck Holdings” group and is now listed as a member of Atlas Venture Capital. Monkey says that he added Farqot to the group so that he could better cover what is happening.
I asked Monkey if I could see the votes, and he forwarded to me the note from Tobia Forcella of the Virtual Stock Exchange, listing the shareholders of AVC and the amount of their holdings. In addition, he sent me a folder of eighteen votes agreeing to Monkey taking control of AVC.
In my independent count, I came up with the same result that Monkey is reporting. It is worth noting that all the votes, as well as the list of shareholders are all ‘No Modify’ which makes the results even more trustworthy.
Monkey will be holding a meeting/press conference today at 2:30 PM SLT Oceanic (26,186,21)

(Full disclosure: I own 10 shares of AVC that I bought on August 29th and 30th, at a price of L$ 3.52 each)
AVC Voting

This comment is to confirm the information you cite above regarding my involvement with the vote count that elected Monkey Canning as the new CEO of Atlas Venture Capital.
I was approached yesterday (Sunday) morning by a mutual acquaintance of Mr. Canning, who asked if I would mind counting the votes as an outside observer with no specific interest in AVC (this friend, BTW, is an AVC shareholder). Since I trust my friend's judgment, and they trust Mr. Canning's, I had no qualms about doing so. As an officer of both an SL-based company, and an RL-based 501(c)(3) museum, I can appreciate the need for occasional outside participation, and was happy to oblige.
I met Mr. Canning—for the first time—at his home shortly after 9:00 AM SLT. As he did with you, he gave me the folder with the votes, which I tallied on a spreadsheet, and forwarded to him via e-Mail. The 73% of AVC voting shares figure you cite is correct.
To the best of my knowledge, I do not hold stock in any company that Mr. Canning has either significant or controlling interests in, including AVC. My membership in the AVC group resulted solely from my request that he keep me posted of his progress and upcoming events.
As for my involvement with Brautigan & Tuck Holdings (BNT), it amounts to owning 1,000 shares (out of a total of 130,000,000 outstanding), which cost me an average of L$ 0.2381 per share.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me via e-Mail, at the address which you have.
Farqot Gustafson
Director
SL Reports
Thank you for the confirmation
